Eclipse at Half Moon, the contemporary heart of one of the Caribbean’s most storied resorts, officially reopens on April 2, 2026, along with the newly reimagined Villas at Half Moon.

Following the passage of Hurricane Melissa in October 2025, Half Moon temporarily closed to allow for thoughtful restoration and to support the recovery of more than 850 team members. With the reopening of Eclipse and the newly reimagined Villas at Half Moon, the resort now enters a new chapter, welcoming guests back to the warmth and spirit that have defined the destination for generations.
As part of Half Moon’s thoughtful, phased reopening, the resort’s cherished Founders Cove will welcome guests once more in a later phase of the restoration. This next phase will include the return of the Hibiscus and Ocean Court accommodations, along with additional resort amenities and outdoor spaces. As restoration continues across the property, more familiar areas of Half Moon will gradually reopen, inviting guests to rediscover the settings and experiences that have defined the resort for decades.
