Eclipse at Half Moon and the newly reimagined Villas at Half Moon will reopen on ^{April 2, 2026}. Additional legacy accommodations at Founders Cove will reopen in a second phase later in the year.

The following will be open beginning April 2: 

• Eclipse at Half Moon (57 beachfront accommodations)
• Villas at Half Moon (newly reimagined six- and seven-bedroom residences)
• Infinity-edge pool and swimming coves
• Select restaurants and bars, including:

Additional legacy accommodations at Founders Cove will reopen in a second phase later in 2026. More details will be shared as reopening timelines are confirmed. 

^{Why did Half Moon temporarily close?} 

Following the passage of Hurricane Melissa in October 2025, the resort temporarily closed to allow time for restoration and renovation. Equal focus was placed on the wellbeing and recovery of more than 850 team members, many of whom were directly affected by the storm. 

^{What is the “Welcome Back Home to Half Moon” offer?} 

To celebrate the reopening, Half Moon is offering a complimentary fourth night when guests reserve three consecutive nights at Eclipse at Half Moon. 

The offer also includes: 

• Daily breakfast at Hayward’s
• Children five and under dine complimentary throughout the stay

^{What are the Villas at Half Moon?} 

The Villas at Half Moon are newly reimagined six- and seven-bedroom private residences. Each villa features:

  • Housekeeper 
  • Butler
