    RUM COLLECTION
    We are proud to introduce an exclusive list of rums produced in the 'Rhum Agricole' method, which is a style of rum originally distilled in the French Caribbean islands from freshly squeezed juice from the 'genus saccharum officinarum' commonly known 'sugar cane'; along with more traditional rums made from molasses as is more common in the
    English and Spanish speaking Caribbean.

    Molasses Rum
    Rum is usually made using one of three methods: directly fermenting sugar cane juice, creating a concentrated syrup from sugar cane juice and fermenting the result, or processing the juice into molasses and then fermentation. The climate and the soil will impact the final rum taste, which is why rum produced from molasses from Jamaica will taste different than a rum made with molasses from Barbados, even if the two were distilled in exactly the same place with the same method. The vast majority of rum distillers use molasses to make rum.

    Rhum Agricole
    Rhum agricole is only produced in the French Caribbean. Rhum production must adhere to the strictest regulations of any rum type, down to the distillation length, making it the most consistent form.

    Cachaca
    Like rhum agricole, cachaça is location-dependent and can only be made in Brazil, though with less stringent rules. As long as the rum is less than 54% ABV and doesn't use molasses, it can be considered cachaça. Cachaças 51 distillation length, making it the most consistent form.

    Dark
    Dark rums are aged in charred oak or wooden barrels for a period of time; they end up with a darker colour and a

    Methodology: Molasses - Jamaica 143
    Appleton Decades reveals smooth notes of honey and molasses on the nose with a luxurious ƒPavour proƒOle of nutmeg, walnut, maple and vanilla ƒOnishing with notes of soft oak and bright orange zest. The rum, presents a dark amber hue ending with a silky finish.

    Appleton Estate 21 YO
    Methodology: Molasses - Jamaica 
    A truly excellent long-aged rum from Jamaica's most respected producer, Appleton 21yo has everything you could ask for in a top end rum - real richness and depth of ƒPavour and a fabulously smooth texture and mouthfeel. An exceptional spirit.

    Appleton Estate 15 YO
    Methodology: Molasses - Jamaica 
    Appleton Estate 15-Year-Old Black River Casks reveals aromas of toasted almond and delicate hazelnut followed by notes of intense orange peel, rich vanilla and subtle hints of medium roasted coffee and molasses. The rum, with an ABV of 43%,
    presents a coppery hue with a honey gold ring of age, ending with a creamy lingering finish.

    Ron Abuelo 15 Oloroso Sherry Finish
    Methodology: Molasses - Panama 
    Brilliant copper colour. Complex aromas and flavours of polished wood, leather, sherry raisin cake, and dark roasted nuts with a velvety, vibrant, fruity full body and a warming, distinctive, long finish with accents of honeyed toasted fruit cake, exotic spiced prunes and figs, tea and tobacco finish.

    Rhum JM 2003 
    Methodology: Agricole - Martinique 
    This single-vintage rum has been aged in re-charred ex-bourbon barrels. Distilled in 2003, this is a rich and full-bodied with notes of walnuts, pecans, brown sugar, leather and tobacco.

    Flor De Cana 25 Centenario 
    Methodology: Molasses -Nicaragua 
    This ultra-premium rum has a deep and elegant amber hue. Its beautifully integrated aroma, with hints of vanilla, wood and dark cocoa, draws you into a smooth, luxurious taste that offers further notes of fruit, almond and caramel and a touch of sweetness that lingers in the long, buttery finish.

    Ron Zacapa Centenario XO Solera 
    Methodology: Molasses - Guatemala 
    This limited-release Zacapa XO Solera Gran Reserva Especial (in a stylish ƒPat decanter) won Gold in the Super-Premium category at the International Rum Festival for several years after its release in 2000, and was given the Platinum award for the Super-Premium category in 2002.

    Diplomatico Single Vintage 2002
    Methodology: Molasses - Venezuela 
    The third release of Diplomatico's single-vintage rum, this comes from the 2002 harvest. Aged for around 12 years in bourbon and single malt whisky casks before being finished in sherry wood, this has tempting aromas of sweet pastry, baked bananas and cinnamon, along with richer notes of fruit cake, roasted almonds and treacle toffee. 

    Rhum Rhum PMG Liberation 2017 Full Proof 
    Methodology: Agricole - Guadaloupe 
    The cask strength version of Liberation 2017, aged in ex-Burgundy casks until its 'liberation' in 2017.

    Worthy Park Single Barrel Half Moon 14 YO 
    Methodology: Molasses - Jamaica 
    A celebration of Jamaica's finest rum heritage, Worthy Park Single Barrel Series 2007 Half Moon (14 YO) is a balanced
    rum. Highlighting tropical flavours of orange, banana and naseberry. This single barrel series captures the wisp of
    Jamaican baking spices and complements the caramel and slight leathery notes that are enhanced by the pot
    distillation process.

    Clement Rhum Vieux Xo 
    Methodology: Agricole - Martinique 
    With a beautiful dark mahogany colour, Clement 6 year old Rhum Agricole has been distilled from fresh pressed
    sugarcane juice and aged a minimum of 6 years in a combination of virgin and recharred oak barrels, yielding
    an exceptional aged Agricole Rhum, with a beautiful smokey aroma and long lingering finish.

    Santa Teresa 1796 
    Methodology: Molasses - Venezuela 
    Santa Teresa 1796 is a bold and elegant rum with blends up to 35 years aged in bourbon oak barrels, then further
    aged through the artisanal Solera method resulting in a dry, smooth and balanced rum.

    Plantation Extra Old 20 Anniversary 
    Methodology: Molasses - Barbados
    The rums are initially aged in Barbados in ex-bourbon casks for 12-20 years then transported to the Charente
    (home of Plantation's owner, Cognac producer Pierre Ferrand) and undergoing a second maturation in small
    French oak casks.
