A Little Bit of Our Legacy
In 1954, a group of individuals chose to build an exclusive vacation resort not far from Montego Bay, on a perfectly-shaped crescent beach, which they aptly named "Half Moon". Throughout the years, Half Moon has expanded and added rooms, first through cleverly converting existing facilities, and then through construction.
In 1979, Half Moon acquired the neighbouring Colony Hotel and this building was transformed into one-bedroom units.
Today, the 400-acre 5-Star/AAA 4-Diamond Half Moon ranks among the most popular and complete resorts in the Caribbean.
